I visited this ramen stall in the morning, and it turned out to be one of the most satisfying food experiences I’ve had in a while. Starting the day with a hearty bowl of ramen might be unconventional for some, but it was absolutely worth it. The food is exceptional — especially the spicy ramen, which genuinely delivers on its promise of heat. Unlike many places that claim to serve spicy food but fall short, this one truly brought the fire. The broth was deep and flavorful, the noodles were perfectly cooked with just the right amount of chew, and the toppings complemented the dish beautifully.
What really enhanced the experience was the atmosphere. Despite being a humble stall, the setting was cozy and inviting. They were playing classic oldies in the background, which gave the place a warm, nostalgic charm — a perfect way to ease into the day. It’s rare to find a spot that nails both the food and the mood, especially so early in the day.
Whether you're a ramen enthusiast or just in the mood for something comforting and satisfying, I highly recommend giving this place a try. I’ll definitely be returning — maybe next time for lunch or dinner, but honestly, I wouldn't mind another morning...
Read morePretty good miso base ramen, I enjoyed the spicy one. This start mild but get angrier as you eat it. The noodle were firmer in comparison to other places I’ve been, still chewy - I liked it that way. Pork was ok, not particularly tender if I am honest. Pretty good gyoza. Portions are big, but managed to finish them all and also had 2 pieces of karaage chicken. Chicken was well cooked and juicy. Now, the reviews might be a bit inflated because they offer free chicken or juice in exchange of a google review, however the food was quite honestly tasty. The atmosphere is quite simple, just a ramen shop like many other and you are eating facing the wall. Service was perhaps between the less welcoming we experienced in Japan. Like in many other places you get a tickets from a machine which has the names of the dishes in English. The machine is quite old and wouldn’t take the new banconote of ¥10,000 and they had no change for us. So we had to purchase some water from the near shop, come back and order. Had to stand awkwardly in front of the machine while my girlfriend was getting some change from the new banconote. There is always a queue outside, this was pretty quick,...
Read moreI'm not one to "fan girl" over anything BUT If I could I would give this place a 10/5.
the door was closed to keep it nice and cool inside, don't be scared to open the door and ask if they're open
We had spicy ramen (which was more spicy flavour than ouchy spice), gyoza and fried chicken. We have been in japan for almost three weeks and of all the ramen places we've eaten at (and there have been many) this miso ramen has been my absolute favourite. The gyoza was spectacular and the fried chicken wasn't greasy - even a little bit (how???).
The owner was sweet and despite us not being able to speak Japanese he was intuitive enough to help us order as well as guide us where to buy some of the ingredients he used to take back with us to Canada.
It was a cute set up with the AC cranked which was a godsend for a sweaty Betty such as myself, especially while inhailing steaming soup.
I'm really happy we stumbled upon this place and will definitely be looking for it the next time...
