We went there for dinner for 2 times. 1st time, all good. There was only 7 of us dining in that day. The staffs were friendly and helpful too. Then, we went back for 2nd time 4 days later. It was quite crowded, probably bcoz it’s Friday, and I think there is an event happening at the back. We ordered the same food bcoz we think the price was affordable and reasonable. However, there is cockroach smell in some parts of the food (in the rice and sea urchin). We tried to tell the staff but they ignored us. The cashier just said sorry and that’s it. They boss also ignored us by telling us that no customer complained about that (the cashier typed it out later after we insisted communicating through google translate). They knew we are tourist, the boss refused to type In Japanese to communicate but keep speaking Japanese and rushed us to pay.
I will not recommend this place even their price is reasonable. (By the way, no receipt will be issued so we don’t know if the price is correct. They counted with a calculator and asked us to pay.) There are better choices out there with more tasty food and reasonable price. Don’t risk your health by eating here. Imagine if you have food poisoning during vacation,...
Read moreThe food here is super good and cheap. Although the menu is only in English and Japanese, there is a QR code on the wall that you can scan to order, which have four languages in total (Chinese, Japanese, English Korean). The sashimi here is very cheap and tasty too. We tried a combo of five different sashimi and it is just 2000yen! The capacity is large too, you can never experience such large amount with great quality in the ‘tourist market’ (you know which one I am saying). After that, we also tried the chef recommendation of luxury sushi, which consists of eight sushi and 1500yen. All are delicious, but the most surprising, there is the sea urchin sushi! Admittedly, the sea urchin is really really good but expensive af. But the sea urchin is soooo cheap here, then we ordered specifically the sea urchin sushi which is just 1200yen. When it came out, we were all shocked. It was in such large amount that if you buy in local sea market it must be over 3000+yen. We also order beer and some other side dishes which are also extremely cheap and delicious. One of the best sushi restaurant I have ever been to. Make sure to...
Read moreAbsolutely love this little gem of a restaurant! The staff are so nice and friendly. They have an English translated menu with a QR code, but it’s not a tourist trap at all. You’re surrounded by locals coming back from work and going out to dinner.
The food was so good! We came for the sushi and it did not disappoint. So fresh and so much! The uni was especially delicious. We saw a table getting an order of pasta (it’s on their hand written menu not on the QR code) and had to get it. Honestly one of the best things I ate in Osaka.
Would highly recommend this place for...
