𝗪𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗮𝗶𝘁? The large quantities will undoubtedly either surprise or underwow local Japanese because they already know what they're supposed to be getting. Nonetheless, I'll make a point of saying that their curry is robust and has a lot more oomph to it as the southern Japan beef cubes they add to it pack a lot more than you expect! Also, excuse my formality, but that southern Japanese beef was the best cut - IT WAS FAT - an unexpected perfect addition to the curry!
I had to wait for around 30 minutes to enter and sit down. I had to sit at a stranger's table, but since everyone was eating quietly and enjoying themselves, I didn't find it to be a big deal. Although the immediate order-taking upon sitting down surprised me slightly, the service I experienced was swift and easy. So what was there to worry about when I already knew I wanted curry? Perhaps not knowing what topping I wanted beforehand costed me an additional fifteen seconds of inconveniencing the waitress. Other than that, really, all you have to do is sit down, declare what you want to eat and drink, eat (and drink), pay, and then leave. Read moreSaw this place in YouTube and decided to give it a try this weekend. Parked my car by tsutenkaku and walk 3 blocks to the restaurant. Nice walk and cheaper parking rates. As for the restaurant we waited about 20 min or so which was expected for a popular place like this. We decided to order jumbo size Katsudon and Hamburgu steak teishoku omori set. Katsudon seemed like the most popular item everyone was ordering. Taste was very tasty and delicious. Pork was soft and fatty. Hamburgu steak was actually small with only 2 pieces of hamburger and an extra large rice. Taste of gravy/ meat was good but again portion wasn't enough. Should have ordered the karaage but we always eat fried chicken in Japan. Overall this place was okay and service was just okay too. Not sure if I'll return or suggest it. Aloha...

Everything looked amazing and we decided on the Chicken Karaage Don and Pork Katsu Don. The portions are huge, so I’d recommend ordering a small size for those with a small appetite/ladies. Even my partner, who ordered a regular size, couldn’t finish it!
The eggs were perfectly runny and gooey. The Karaage and Katsu were well seasoned. Hands down, the best Oyakodon we’ve had in Japan so far. We’ll...
