Boku no Banh Mi & Akutagawa Coffee — Restaurant in Osaka

Honestly the food is probably pretty decent (according to other reviews), and looks like one of the few places in the area that has a vegetarian option on the menu. But they wanted to enforce one order per person when we visited even though the restaurant was empty (my partner already had food and we went there so I can get something vegetarian to eat). We walked out - voting with the wallet. It's unfortunate, but it's a warning for everyone else attending, make sure that everyone will be ordering something, otherwise be prepared to leave them outside in the cold while you stay inside warm eating...

I got bahn mi to go with a latte. I had never had bahn mi and I've never been much of a coffee person but I wanted to try.

Both were delicious! I definitely want to come again before I leave. The staff were very kind and spoke English well. I had a mosquito on my face and she told me and swatted it away for me, ahaha. Very kind. I also got the coffee as a second thought after I already ordered the sandwich and she kindly gave me the price of a set.

I didn't eat inside so I can't say much for the vibe but it looked nice.

Stopped by for a coffee break at this quaint, rustic place. Vibes were immaculate! Absolutely enjoyed environment, and it was quite a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of the city. I would rate the overall vibe of the place 6 stars out of 5 if possible! 🤌🏻👍🏻

Coffee was okay, but had slightly too much milk which overpowered the coffee taste.

Staff were super friendly and spoke very good english!
