Didn’t go to the cafe so couldn’t comment on that. The shopping experience was quite unpleasant compared to other Japanese stores in our past five visits to Japan. The floor staff was nice but in the fitting room two female staff were not attentive and was a bit rude. Could also because of her limited English. But she didn’t say the usual thank you or be helpful with the cloth sizes, rolled her eyes when I tried to give her the clothes that we didn’t want. Then she told me to put clothes into a returned basket instead, she only took one item from me.
The cashier experience was a disaster. We handed over a temporary passport copy and told the staff that it worked for so many different shops. However she insisted it didn’t work. While we had this communication in limited Japanese and English, the supervisor was just around the corner but she didn’t come over. After about five minutes, she came over to tell the cashier that the temp passport copy actually was eligibility for tax free. It then took another 15 minutes to finalise everything. Not just because we bought many things, the cashier was soooo slow to scan each item. No jokes, like a sloth. Overall, Muji is a good store to make purchases from but this...
Read moreWe came to this branch for dinner and were served by Raymond. He is a very attentive staff who goes the extra mile to ensure the comfort of all guests.
When he noticed there was 4 of us, he recommended us to try different dishes, and desserts so we would be able to try a variety of different dishes, and recommended a very delicious vegetable appetiser.
His recommendations were all very good and we finished everything because it was so delicious ! We did not know what to have as it was our first time here, so we were thankful for his recommendations.
He brought sharing plates for us, extra spoons, etc without us having to ask, and kept checking on us and the other guests present.
I am very happy to come here for my dinner today, and I hope to be able to come back again in the future. Once again thank you to Raymond for the excellent service and for bringing some extra " warmth "...
Read moreQuaint Cafe next to the Muji store and Muji coworking space. We came here for dessert and ordered the cheesecake and soft ice cream. The table fee dish was a sweet ice cream in a mildly savory vinegar sauce. It was tasty and interesting but the 600 yen per person fee for this dish of which we had no choice seemed high compared to other similar fees in the Osaka area. It took about 30 minutes for our food to arrive.
Overall it felt like eating at a fancier and more expensive version of the IKEA store. Good for the...
