Cafe Mog Namba — Restaurant in Osaka

WORST EXPERIENCE. WAITED 40+ MINUTES FOR FOOD AND 1+ HOURS FOR DRINKS.

Decided to have brunch here after passing by a few times. The shop looked nice and the food seemed appetizing. Arrived around 10:20 and was seated right away, took about 10 minutes for the staff to take our order. We ordered the apple ice cream pancakes, the A-Set basic breakfast, and 2 lattes.

The pancakes came out first after about 30 minutes of waiting. They were good, cream and apples added a nice touch but the pancakes weren’t anything special, reminded me of McDonald’s. Then came one matcha latte, honestly the worst matcha we have had since coming to Japan. Bitter and grainy, stopped drinking after a few sips. Ten minutes later, the basic breakfast came out. Portion sizes were a lot smaller than the menu made it seem, maybe 2 eggs and 2 slices of bacon.

All this time, we were still waiting on a cafe latte. When the basic breakfast came out, we asked the servers where the latte was. They looked around confused, then came back 5 minutes later and said it was being prepared now. We had to wait another 10 minutes for it to finally be brought to the table. It tasted fine, nothing special, and was no longer hot.

Clearly they were understaffed which was inexcusable for a Sunday breakfast/brunch service. Staff seemed inexperienced and servers spent much time hanging around the food pickup area. My advice, go eat at your hotel, you’ll receive similar quality and receive your food at a...

為了Tabelog3.5的高分來朝聖，極度失望。首先，該店服務一般，並不旅客友好。全店只有一台客人，我們是第二台客人，一開始已詢問，同意了可以坐4人位置，剛打算下單突然叫我們轉到二人桌，的確無奈，沒有原因，也不是繁忙沒位置。 其次，食物質素一般。主要是，pancake一般，也不是入口即溶，軟軟糯糯的感覺，有點慶幸只點了一個原味Pancake。再者，人均須點一杯飲料。看了Travelog之後，問了店員也表達我們想要有畫卡通的熱飲：點了一杯Latte 和matcha latte.看到杯matcha熱飲直接無語了….完全沒看到圖案，一堆Cream隨便擠上去latte上面…隨即問了店員她們說畫不出我剛才想要的圖案..還說綠色這杯是話史努比，黑人問號？我的甜品吃完了才來的熱飲，差不多等45分鐘，等來這樣的飲品，真的無語了…如果你失敗了，那就倒調重新弄杯新的，圖案可以畫簡單一點吧？這個服務態度真的不敢恭維。感覺被騙了

I immediately asked the store clerk and they said they couldn't draw the pattern I just wanted... and they also said the green cup was Snoopy, and the black question mark? The hot drink came after I finished my dessert. I waited for almost 45 minutes. I was really speechless waiting for such a drink... If you fail, then reverse the recipe and make a new one. While walking at cafe street in osaka i was stumbled at these queue of people, that i found out that this is a cafe that serve pancakes. Without hesitation we queue also, pls be patient as there are notice of long queue time due that they made to order their pancake from scratch. After 30min thank GOD we are called. We ordered marshmallow chocolate pancake and their special pancake accompanied by caffe latte and green tea latte. I'd like their special pancake more than their chocolate marshmallow as because i think the taste are to sweet for me. Pancake are fluffy not dense. Green tea latte also taste really good...
