Wooowww!!! I am writing this review as x Italian Restaurant owner in Istanbul , Porte Cihangir, you can check on artificial intelligence app.you have and also husband of Turkish Cuisine Chef’s daughter who is magnificent in our home/kitchen and thanks to everything for that. I found this restaurant “cafe” around our hotel (30 min. walk or metro) when my wife told me she doesn’t want to walk, run around, get into train tonight and thanks for that or other wise I was picking an another most probably busy restaurant for Kobe Beef. This place is call “cafe” but what I believe it is much more than that, you can call brasserie, restaurant I believe because there is a chef/owner inside who makes you you feel you are in a special place to have your dinner not with touristy prices, not with food with make up or any other b.s. touristy things. This is actually a good steak restaurant if you know what you want to order, check the real Japanese menu upside down with your iphone photo translator or simply ask the chef/owner. He has 100% amazing menu with 100% thoughts and hard work in it, he is amazing and the location of third floor he owns don’t let you fool! We had prawn terrine, freshest vegetables grilled salad and ohhh my god pasta with truffle mushrooms, this guy does everything very special as long as you know what you are here for and what you want as little changes. After we tried our big starters we wanted to have mix plate with kobe and wagyu steak so we can try and enjoy it all in one plate very slowly with our delicious sake. With the starters we had Alamos red wine before. The mix.plate wasn’t in the menu so we asked for help from our chef/owner if he can make something special. He was very kind and after he agreed about the price (he was very humble/modest) he made one delicious mixed meat platter (Kobe&Wagyu) and it was really die for! He has been there for 20 years, his own property, third floor of nowhere (maybe because it was night time) and he creates most desirable dishes in that beautiful place, do not miss please if you are foodie like us. Do not pass the desserts, chocolate one was delicious. Please do not ruin your Kobe and/or Wagyu with soy sauce or/and mustard, you can add little salt if you want. It is 3rd.floor of the building, just pass between Italian pizza restaurant and button shop and go upstairs and yes they do accept credit cards. We took so long in the restaurant and after eating two starters and two big main courses when we are on our way out we realised that there is a beautiful pizza oven at the Italian Restaurant on ground floor so we said why don’t we pop down for a real buffalo mozzarella pizza with (we know it is strange but we are on holiday) prosecco and we loved every part of it except banging the meats at closing time even while we were trying to enjoy our prosecco on candle lights. Do not give much attention to any staff when the time is closer to closing time in such a places like this Italian one. Best things about Tokyo and Osaka, once when you finish with shopping (if you can) go and visit Kyoto, Nara and all surroundings.
A little note for the restaurant: need little more volume for the music please so people do not need to listen all the plates’ noises coming from dish washing area and also we don’t need to whisper while we want to have a conversion...

🇬🇧👇 I had to celebrate a recent job promotion and during my stay in Osaka I would have liked to have my fellow travelers taste the famous Kobe meat. In my search for a place that offered reasonable prices, I came across the experience of comparing two cuts of meat proposed by Caffè Mode. Technically it is an Italian restaurant and this immediately concerned me, as I have rarely as an Italian eaten good Italian cuisine abroad. But the experience offered by Caffè Mode made me reconsider, we came for the meat but their version of spaghetti bolognese with wagyu has exceeded my expectations. The chef's ability to join Italian tradition and Oriental influence gave us a fusion cuisine experience that we are unlikely to forget. You can easily taste the passion that the cook manages to imprint in each dish. I hope to stop by Osaka again to sample the other courses...
Read moreWe enjoyed this restaurant so much that we ate both lunch and dinner there one day! This was a highlight of our Osaka visit. We enjoyed the prix fixe lunch and dinner menu- the courses were unique and delicious and beautifully presented. The Kobe+ wagyu set menu was excellent and very reasonably priced. The owner is so creative and welcoming. Thank you for taking such good care of our family and we hope to return one day! Greetings from Seattle,...
