CRITTERS PIZZA — Restaurant in Osaka

After a long, tiring day of exploring Osaka, we wandered into Critters Pizza because it was close to our hotel. It was around 9pm and the front of the restaurant was lively with live music and patrons drinking but we were escorted to the tables in the back where it was quieter and very comfortable. The waiter was very nice and noticed we were having trouble with our pocket wifi and helped us connect to the store wifi and also offered my boyfriend a box of tissues as he was having spring allergies.

We got the set menu that came with 2 appetizers, 1 pizza, 1 pasta, and dessert. This was more than enough food for two people and we were very full at the end! The food was delicious, though we liked the pizza more than the pasta. I really liked the pistachio ice cream at the end.

What really sold Critters Pizza for us was the atmosphere. The staff were all welcoming, the seats were comfortable, the restaurant was nicely decorated, and the live music really set the tone. My boyfriend and I both agree that if we were locals, we would definitely be a regular here! Hoping to visit again the next time...

The staff at Critters Pizza is wonderful! I forgot my small gold ring there after eating dinner, and when I came back the next day to get it, they had nicely wrapped up the ring to keep it safe. The gentleman I talked to on the phone to ask about the ring also remembered my name when I came back. They are so kind.

The food is also delicious! My group ordered 3 pizzas and calamari, and everything was excellent. The pizza dough was well made and perfectly chewy. The calamari was my favorite! It was so well fried. Service was fast, which was good because we were so hungry. And the restaurant interior is very spacious and a good place to come with friends or a date, or even to enjoy a meal by yourself. I highly recommend checking them out!
