Kamukura is a solid spot for a quick and convenient meal. I had the menu set with fried rice, gyoza, and Oichi ramen. There was a short 5-minute wait to be seated, and the food arrived just as quickly. Everything is ordered via iPad, so it’s super efficient and there’s no need for interaction if you’re in a rush or just prefer it that way.
The ramen was good, with a flavorful broth, though not the best I’ve had. The fried rice was nice, and the gyoza were the highlight—crispy and packed with flavor. I also loved the chili oil, pepper, garlic, and other toppings available at the table, which really elevated the meal.

Read moreFast, big portions, delicious. I can’t say the experience was awesome because of two things. First of all, there was no tea or coffee — in fact, the only drink options were beer and Coke. The second issue was the broth. I like when the broth has a strong body, but this one was rather mild. Nevertheless, I ate at this place twice and left happy and full.
