Drip-X-Cafe — Restaurant in Osaka

Taste was fine but big waste of money.

930 yen for a 200ml smoothy!!!!!! If it is so expensive it should be very clearly written on the menu but the price wasn't even big enough for me to remember if the price was even written. Fine if you're going to have such an expensive smoothy, but be clear about how much it costs!!!

1000 yen for a roast beef bowl would have been fine but it was covered in mayo that you couldn't notice was there so much from the picture. I hate mayo so that destroyed an otherwise near decent meal.

新大阪駅構内にあり、駅構内の新幹線改札口に最も近いカフェです。そのため、目的の新幹線に乗車する前の時間調整のために利用する客が多く、平日休日問わずどの時間帯にも混雑しています。一方で客の回転はそれほど悪くはないため、入店のために並ぶようなことはほとんどありません。 しかし、常に混雑している状況からか、スタッフは常にてんてこ舞いの状態で、サービスの質にもムラがあるように思います。素っ気ない対応をされたり、調味料や食器類の一部が提供されない（提供を忘れられる）、といったことがしばしばあります。人によって混雑具合から仕方ないと思うかもしれませんが、利用の際は注意が必要です。その一方で、サンドウィッチの切り方を変えてもらうなど、客の要望にも可能な限り柔軟に対応してくれます。 新大阪駅構内の喧騒がダイレクトに響くため、ややうるさくあまりリラックスできる環境ではありませんが、新幹線や特急の待ち合わせ目的で利用するにはちょうどいいかもしれません。

Located inside Shin-Osaka Station, this cafe is the closest to the Shinkansen ticket gates inside the station. Therefore, many customers use the cafe to make time adjustments before boarding their desired Shinkansen, and it's crowded at any time of the day, regardless of weekdays or holidays. On the other hand, the customer turnover is not so bad, so there is rarely a line to enter the cafe. However, perhaps because the cafe is always crowded, the staff is always on the edge of their seats, and the quality of service seems to be uneven. Often, the service is curt, and some of the condiments and dishes are not provided (or forgotten to be provided). Some people may think this is inevitable due to the crowded conditions, but care should be taken when using the restaurant. On the other hand, they are as flexible as possible in accommodating customer requests, such as asking for a different cut of sandwich. Food was delicious! Carbonara pasta, roast beef sandwich, French toast with fruit and chocolate milkshake were, taste wise, phenomenal. (Roast beef sandwich was cold beef on cold toast, cold toast always weird to me, but the taste was great).
