The owner of this location has won several barista awards internationally as well. In addition it is a beautiful location in this green leafy park, with outdoor and indoor seating in a plaza next to the Cool Osaka performing arts center. Highly recommended!

A must visit if you love your coffee. I am a Melbourne coffee snob and for me to review this and liken it to Melbourne coffee says it all! The iced coffee drip is soooo good and I was even asked my preference of beans because there were 4 different options. Owner is so friendly and helpful and even took a photo with us!

We visited HOOP back in May 2025. First, it was just a short rest stop after the visit to Osaka castle. Upon arrival, we saw the owner enthusiastically introducing local restaurants to the other customers, but this did not stop him from greeting us. I ordered a hand drip coffee while my wife ordered a latte, both were delicious.

The highlight of HOOP coffee though is the owner, whos english name is Turner. Turner is the most warm, genuine and friendly guy you'll ever meet, with an unquenching passion for good coffee. Upon enquiring further about his hand drip coffee and technique, Turner showed me in detail how he prepares his beans and the different approaches he used for brewing a hand drip and an espresso. The interaction kind of turned into a little coffee workshop. We feel very fortunate and thankful for Turner's hospitality. We hope to return to Osaka soon and to visit...
