Japanese set meal restaurant KAMIYA — Restaurant in Osaka

The experience was nice, sitting cross legged however my expectations were a bit to high after reading many reviews that mentioned “many vegetarian/vegan options” and “good for English speakers”.

As for the vegetarian/vegan stuff, there was only one option which doesn’t contain protein, only veggies. Not sure what the various options the reviews mention.

As for speaking English, I definitely don’t expect everyone to know English. We were prompted to order our food on the website to come to our table and the server had a hard time speaking to us which is fine but the website/app wouldn’t translate to English despite pressing the translation button. It made the ordering process a bit more tricky.

Also want to add, the food was good but my stomach felt sooooo weird after, like a burning sensation that I’ve never felt before. It went away after eating something else. Wouldn’t...
