I love this place the first time is here. It's very nostalgic. As with the people. Most people that came are locals, many of them are elderly and they smoke. That's one thing really bother me every time I came here... The cigarette smoke.
It's a small cozy place until the cigarette smoke filled up the tiny restaurant but you also noticed probably the reason why these patrons so faithfully came here for the coffee and breakfast was probably because there is no restriction about smoking.
The curry was delicious, so was the fried rice. They use really good pearl rice to make them. The curry flavor was sophisticated and flavorful. We dropped by for a quick morning tea of the coffee and toast set (¥430/ea). Opting for the milk coffee, we naively thought it would be similar to an English Breakfast or Earl Grey tea with milk. However, our drink tasted very much like hot milk, so in hindsight, we should have ordered straight coffee instead. The thick slice of jam on toast served as a tasty, sufficient morning tea.

The egg toast was topped with ketchup and was a surprisingly good combo with the soft fluffy bread. The normal toast had a jam spread, and the bread was toasted nicely as well.
