I loved dining at Matsuya! The restaurant is part of a chain which seems to specialise in beef rice bowls. There were however numerous options to choose from. I ordered a beef rice bowl as part of a set meal. It included salad and miso soup. It was a delicious and hearty meal. My friend ordered a beef rice bowl meal too but with added soft egg and scallions. Both meals were a generous portion and inexpensive. All meals are placed through an automatic ordering machine. You then get a ticket and wait for your number to be called. It didn't take long at all. I liked that there were a lot of sauces and condiments on each table that you could add to your rice and salad. I also thought the sauces were tasty and a nice addition to my meal.
