We just came back from this restaurant. We ordered sets with a choice of two of today's curry and udon, and extra cheese naan. First of all, restaurant is small and during waiting for the food we've heard microwave couple of time. After each one, we received one dish. The taste of curry wasn't bad, however, it was super hot and we knew it was coming straight from the microwave. The staff didn't even try to hide this fact from us. Udon was much worse and tasted like a bit improved tomato soup and naan - it was the worst naan I ever had. Seriously, it tasted like it was prepared a couple of days before, it was super fat and cheese inside must have been very cheap. 20 minutes after us some locals came to the restaurant and when they ordered, it was the first time I heard the noise of frying and from our perspective, their naan looked much fresher than ours. Maybe we received low-quality food because we looked like white tourists, and this is probably the only time we visit this restaurant - I don't know. Anyway, I went there because it has quite a good overall opinion on Google and the only thing I can do now is to advice you to think twice before...
Read moreWe had an amazing dining experience at Shama Vegetarian Restaurant in Osaka! We ordered the Naan Meal and Chhola Bhatura, and both dishes were absolutely delicious and truly satisfying.
The Naan Meal was perfectly prepared—the naan was soft and fluffy, with just the right amount of crispiness, and paired wonderfully with the flavorful curries. The Chhola Bhatura was a standout—the bhatura was light and crispy, and the chhola was rich, well-spiced, and cooked to perfection.
What impressed us the most was how everything tasted fresh, balanced, and satvik—prepared with care and without any overpowering spices, allowing the natural flavors to shine through. The ambiance of the restaurant was calm and welcoming with krishna bhajan in the background, and the service was attentive and friendly.

Read moreThe Indian cuisines of this restaurant tastes REALLY REALLY great! I visited here twice within three days.
There are many kind of food here, and I really recommend the masala (curry) with naan and samosa.
The masalas here are flavorful, and the spices inside are authentic! You can even meet the spices in your mouth!
The naan is really huge, authentic and scrumptious! If you prefer curry with rice, their rice is also great!
The samosa tastes stunning, crispy and mouthful!
I love their salad with sprouted green beans which is cute and appetizing.
The soup may be different everyday. I have tasted two kinds of soup during my visits. I love the flavor of the soup!
Last but not least, the snack and Lassi are good!
By the way, I boxed up the rest of the food, and I found it still delicious after several hours even without...
