*Food: We ordered the Halal snow crab & sushi. It is a two-hour system, and first a large plate of crab, chili sauce, and a sushi plate are served, and then we order from a tablet. The crab was very delicious, fresh, and plump, and it went well with the chili sauce! The sushi was fresh and thick! I especially liked the crab gunkan and salmon! There is also Halal soy sauce on the table.
*Location: It is close to Shinsaibashi Station or Yotsubashi Station. You can find the restaurant by going down the stairs to the basement.
*Restaurant: There is a Halal certification on display at the entrance, so you can rest assured about the ingredients and seasonings. According to the staff, the cooking utensils and storage area for Muslims are completely separate from the general public (non-Muslims). Each menu on the tablet also has Halal information. Meal times and last orders are also displayed on the tablet.
Also, since there are non-Muslim customers, they were considerate and separated the seats as much as possible.
Recently, they have also made a prayer room in the restaurant. They will also make a wudu space in the future!
Overall, I enjoyed the Halal seafood & sushi, and the food was delicious! You should definitely try it! Also, I am very grateful for the restaurant's warm...
Read moreDespite the name, this is a typical Japanese restaurant that recently started their Muslim friendly menu and my wife and I had the opportunity of trying it out! The atmosphere was great, with extremely clean surroundings and background music that made a pleasurable ambience. Their halal menu is all-you-can-eat buffet of sushi, and depending on your choice, it can include snow crabs or king crabs, which are ALSO all-you-can-eat. We got to try the snow crab (middle) menu. The sushi was great, but the real star of the meal was definitely the crab! It was just so fresh and succulent, not to mention the absolutely amazing chili sauce that came along! They have the halal certification, and even then, they make sure to clearly label everything that is halal so you can dine with peace of mind. What blew us away was also their wonderful staff, who were attentive, accommodating, and all-around affable! English is no problem whatsoever, as they have staff who can easily communicate with you. I was also told that they will be preparing a small prayer room that can fit about 1 person, which is more than I could ask for! There isn't a wudhu area, but as long as you clean up after using the bathroom, it should be a non-issue. Overall, immaculate experience! Would love to go...
Read moreI flew in from the UK to Osaka and couldn’t wait to visit Fujiyama for their all-you-can-eat crab and sushi on my very first evening. The Osaka branch is incredibly convenient to get to, and the quality of the food exceeded all expectations. The crab was wonderfully fresh with firm, flavourful meat full of that natural ocean taste. The sushi was equally impressive — the fish was exceptionally sweet and fresh, and both the crab roe and sea urchin were rich and full of depth.
Despite dining during the busy dinner service, the speed and quality of the food remained consistently high. The staff were exceptionally polite and always greeted us with warm smiles. They even gave my son a lucky draw and gifted him a small keychain, which was a lovely touch. The three of us had a truly delightful evening — a memorable start...
