First of all, please know that this restaurant only has 7 seats. It is an extremely small and cosy ramen bar. It opened at 6pm in the evening. I was there at around 5.45pm and there was already a short queue in front of us. At 6pm, it will open punctually and guests would buy the ramen they want from the dispenser machine before being showed the seat. No frills menu with just ramen done with slight variations and different toppings. Service was fast since they only need to prepare food for 7 pax at one go. Once you are done, you are not expected to hang around. I had the recommended soup ramen and it was really good. First, the chicken tonkatsu broth is rich and creamy. Slightly a bit salty but it isn't the type that made you want to drink water immediately type of salty. The ramen noodle texture was good, but not memorable. Next, the chicken. I do not know how they prepared it, but it was so soft and did not have the texture and taste of chicken. I would come back here again if not because I was at the end of my Osaka trip. Worth a...
Read moreStumbled upon this beautiful ramen place while strolling around Namba and all I can say is, thank god I walked in.
The shop specialises in chicken broth ramen but has a special mix which is both pork and chicken based ramen. All ramen come with standard toppings of green onion and onion but you can get extra.
The shop is limited too 7 seats and is a nice quite atmosphere and the chef actually speaks good English and was very helpful and welcoming.
You can order from a vending machine which has an English instruction menu on the right hand side which guides you through all the choices, you have to insert your money first then obtain a ticket and get a seat and provide the ticket to the chef for your order. If no seats you have to order then wait outside and line up so recommend you come outside of lunch/dinner rush hours.
This shop is by far the best ramen shop in Osako that I have tried so far on my trip and...
Read moreThis was my last dinner in Korea and I’ve been here twice in one week. That’s how delicious the food is and friendly they are to you from the moment you walk in.
I had both the number 1 and number 2 most popular ramens as well as the chicken rice bowl. Each were more delicious than the other. Definitely worth going to. I heard there could be a long wait time to be seated, however both times I came here It was fairly quick. The first time I waited for no more than 30 minutes and the second I walked right in.
I only wish that I wasn’t so nervous so that I could have asked for the names of the wonderful people working 🥲 (probably because I thought the waitress was cute also🙂↕️🙂↕️)
Fantastic...
