Visited for dinner on a weekday night, and yet it was a full house. Fortunately, I was first in line on their waitlist. A space on their large communal table opened up 10 minutes later.
Ordering was simple, we simply scan a QR code and it brings us to their menu (English menu available, and having the Line app is very helpful for tracking your order) which details the ingredients of the meal with the nutrition facts. They also have meal sets for specific purposes (e.g. for athletes, for recovery, for muscle building, etc). The difficult part was choosing what to order because everything looks good.
After a long internal debate, I finally chose the recovery teishoku set meal as an atonement for all the foodie sins I committed in Osaka. It consists of ginger pork with rice, grated yam, miso soup, salad, and several other side dishes (pickles, braised potato and broccoli, and hijiki seaweed with tofu). My order came 15 minutes after I put my order and the staff kindly explained the contents of my meal.
