A Memorable Experience at a Persian Delight
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Hafez that left a lasting impression on me. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted with warm hospitality and exceptional service by the restaurant owner, whose passion for Persian cuisine was evident in every aspect of my visit.
The highlight of my culinary adventure was undoubtedly the exquisite hummus. Creamy, smooth, and bursting with flavor, it was a delightful blend of chickpeas, tahini, garlic, and a hint of lemon. The hummus was served with warm, freshly baked pita bread that was the perfect accompaniment. I couldn't resist going for seconds!
Moving on to the falafel, I was blown away by the impeccable texture and taste. Each bite revealed a crispy exterior, giving way to a moist and well-seasoned interior. The falafel balls were skillfully made with ground chickpeas, herbs, and spices, resulting in a harmonious fusion of flavors. The accompanying tahini sauce added a wonderful tang that elevated the dish even further.
The ground beef kebab was a true masterpiece. Tender, juicy, and perfectly grilled, it showcased the expertise of the restaurant's culinary skills . The succulent beef was marinated with a blend of aromatic spices, infusing it with a rich and savory taste. The kebab was served with fragrant basmati rice and a side salad that provided a refreshing contrast to the hearty meat.
Aside from the exceptional food, what truly stood out was the personal attention and care provided by the restaurant owner. His passion and dedication to customer satisfaction were evident throughout my visit, making me feel like a valued guest.
The ambiance of the restaurant was charming, with its tasteful Persian decor. The overall dining experience was enhanced by the warm and inviting atmosphere, creating a perfect setting for a memorable meal.
In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend this Persian restaurant to anyone seeking an extraordinary dining experience. The combination of excellent service, mouthwatering hummus, flavorful falafel, and succulent ground beef kebab is a winning formula that will leave your taste buds satisfied and your heart content. I am already looking forward to my next visit!

Read moreWhile I enjoyed the experience because it was my first time going to a Persian restaurant after 2 years, this restaurant wasn't anything special when it comes to food, and more importantly, the customer service quality was very disappointing.
We went there for a birthday occasion, so I decided to order a few types of food so my partner could try the Persian food that I'd told her so much about. From the beginning, I couldn't understand the details on one of the menu items, and when I asked the owner (who was also our server), he said, very impatiently and angrily: "You should look more closely at the menu!" And he said this not once, but twice. That's not how you treat a customer, and it gave me a very bad taste in my mouth before I'd even started eating. Mind you, I was extremely polite and respectful while ordering and asking questions, and my smile never left my face.
We finally managed to order, despite the owner's bad attitude, and I was telling myself that maybe the food is extremely good and it'll wash the bad treatment away. But when the food arrived, that wasn't the case.
We ordered Doogh, Koobideh Kabab, Joojeh Kabab, Dolmeh, Borani, yoghurt, roasted tomatoes and a pudding plus tea for dessert.
The Koobideh was dry and small for its expensive price point, Joojeh was not marinated well and the texture was kind of weird (don't know why), the Borani was extremely salty and practically devoid of eggplants, and the pudding was too sweet for my taste. The Doogh and the Dolme were okay, also the rice and the roasted tomatoes (and I put extra emphasis on "okay", as I wasn't amazed or anything).
At this point, if it was only the food, I would give this restaurant a 3.5 out of 5 stars, but taking the customer service into account, especially considering the fact that this restaurant is situated in Japan (which is famous for it's unparalleled customer service quality), I cannot recommend this place, and cannot give it anything higher than a 2 out of 5 stars. Even if a restaurant serves top-notch food, all it takes to ruin the experience is feeling like you're not really welcome in the restaurant. In this place, you're served expensive, mediocre food with a bad attitude to ensure you'll...
