Came at 16:00 because i can't read and they we're just closing down. Just as i was about to turn around and go somewhere else completely, guy who was just closing up (and who would later turn out to be Shimon) stopped me and pointed me to a ramen shop around the corner, which i took up and went to - good bowl of ramen.
After going to Harukas 300, i felt like after that good recommendation i had to come back, can't be bad of the recommendation was already good. Best decision made this week. I was welcomed, and got the best bowl of tsukumen i have had, period. The side dish Chashudon with raw egg amazing itself, but i have not had anything like that tsukumen. Amazing flavor, creamy texture, paired with perfect chashu. I would've had a second bowl if i had any space left. What a meal, thank you Shimon. May i find my way back for...
Read moreMy bf and I love this place!!! Hands down our favorite meal during our Japan trip. We went for Friday lunch and the shop was empty. Located in Umeda off the main streets but wasn’t too difficult to find.
We tried the Special Curry Tsukamen and added cheese on top — solid 10/10. Two bowls of this were only $18.32 USD!! There’s not a huge menu but I can assume everything they make is top tier.
You have to order through a machine outside prior to entering the restaurant, and it only takes cash in ¥1000 bills AND/OR coins smaller than ¥500 (“old” version of the 1000 bill only as of 10/24/2025.) Have google translate ready since the machine is in Japanese only.
The shop is small so I recommend groups 3 or smaller since there’s only counter seats in sets of 3.
We can’t recommend this...
Read morePhenomenal ramen spot, my girlfriend and I went there while travelling through Osaka. The customers are just salarymen, just straight up dudes wanting a bowl after pulling 10 hours at the office, so you know these bowls are 🔥🔥🔥🔥. You order through the machine outside by inserting bills, which is what makes it legit. bring the old 1000 yen bills cuz the new ones don’t work, also the 500 yen coins don’t work either so you just have to bring the old 1000 yen bills, they should fix the machine but it’s cool. Also on the English menu, the meal seats are alphabetical but the machine where you input the order is numerical, but it’s easy A = 1, B = 2 so on and so forth. The staff speaks no to extremely little English so you know these bowls are...
