Onyado Nono Oosaka-Yodoyabashi — Hotel in Osaka

I really love this hotel, the service is impeccable. As soon as we got here, and attendant scrubbed our luggage to clean it from COVID. They have footlockers for your shoes as soon as you come in which is really nice because the entire hotel is super clean. They have complimentary washing machines and daily sweets that they give you as a nice treat. There is complimentary chair massage for two people at a time. The decor is really beautiful. All of the staff are very polite and very kind people. There is complimentary ramen everyday. They also have a nice library of manga. I did not try the public bath, but my wife said it is very nice. The bathroom is very good, I love the shower. The bed is really comfortable, but the only thing I did not care for is the hard pillow. That does seem like a common theme among most Japanese hotels I have been to. There are lots of vending machines which is nice. If you spend 1100JPY on your room, I just found out they have free beer until 9:00 p.m. you might want to double check before you book your stay based on my claim, I just reporting what the restaurant attendant told us. You have to go to the restaurant on 2nd floor in order to get that service. This is one of the best values for the money of any hotel I have ever stayed at. I would highly recommend it. (Updated in September 2024) The second time we stayed at this hotel, also for 4 nights. Like this location because it's quite quiet. There were not many tourist groups staying when we were there, which was good. In this case, we could really relaxed and enjoyed the facilities offered by the hotel. Service was still attentive. One drawback was : the air-conditioner needed to be cleaned (not a very pleasant smell came from it)

After visiting the Onyado Nono in Kyoto, we chose to stay at the same hotel chain. A great decision! The first impression was from a warm greeting from the hotel front staff members, especially from Mr. Suzuki. Kudos to Mr. Suzuki! He was very professional, spoke excellent English. He explained everything to us in detail, with very pleasant personality. His courteous attitude towards customers should deserve a compliment! Thumbs up...

I LOVE IT HERE. For the price, I believe it is completely worth the experience. Here are some things to expect from this hotel:

In house onsen, clean, open through out the night (closes for a couple of hours in the late morning to clean).

Free ramen in the late evenings (tastes amazing!), free yakult and popsicles. You can also get free drinks with your ramen.

Free and clean washing machines (3 in total), and dryers (3 more) with 200yen per 20 or 30 minutes.

Super clean throughout the hotel. Take your shoes off at the front door and leave them in the lockable lockers and take the key with you. You don’t need to wear shoes throughout the hotel but you are welcome to wear their provided slippers if needed. They will help you wipe your luggage down upon entry.

Manga library available. Most of it is in Japanese though, but they have some notable mangas available.

Massage chairs and lounge area.
