Okonomiyaki Ponpoco-tei Minami Horie — Restaurant in Osaka

Honestly this place was an unexpected pleasure. It is the typical hole in wall type place that's easy to miss, but when you find it, it's an experience you can't miss in Osaka! My wife mentioned that Okonomiyaki is what Osaka is known for and we had to try this before leaving Osaka. It did not disappoint at all! We actually went in close to 1:30 PM in the afternoon on a Saturday and we immediately found seats. The folks working there were extremely friendly and accommodating. Most of the special items on the menu were beef based and unfortunately both of us don't eat beef, but when we ordered the Mixed Yaki, that was totally fine, because the chef was able to modify our order to swap the beef for scallops, and it was delicious! Btw, the beef did look delicious too in case anyone was wondering. Overall, a fantastic first time experiencing something new and finding out how much I love this. I highly recommend it...
