We were staying near this little gem and stumbled in for lunch. The staff was super friendly, and the crowd was all locals. Very calm for lunch. The food is absolutely delicious. One of our best meals in Osaka, and definitely the best pork and kimchi that we had. The menu is all in Japanese and there is no English speaking staff, but if you're adventurous or have translate, it's no problem. We were helped by a very kind patron sitting next to us who could make some great suggestions. Prices are decent. Not too expensive as it's set aside from the tourist hub. Would definitely return!

I highly doubt the waiting time was that long and thus I think they just aren't interested to serve foreigners. To add insult to injury, he was kinda rude and had a get outta my face attitude the whole time. If the managers are reading this, we was a tall short haired fella working at the time of posting this review. I can't recommend if I can't even get in to try the food.

It’s a cosy Izakaya where you can sit on a tatami floor or at the counter. Food is great especially the Okonomiyaki, it took a while to cook but we got to see how the chef cooked it at the counter. The seafood were cooked just right, especially the squid and scallops. The outer crust is crispy and the veggies were crunchy and batter were soft on the inside. We ordered their mixed seafood grill and grilled beef on ponzu sauce too. They were nicely done.

An absolute local gem a short trip away from the tourist hoardes. Don't be put off by some of the other reviews suggesting this isn't welcoming to foreigners. Although communication with the staff is a little difficult, they do have an English menu and were happy to seat me without a reservation.

This was my first Okonomiyaki experience, but I was completely blown away. I went for the pork house special which was absolutely devine. Of all the exceptional culinary experiences I had in Japan, this just might be the finest. Highly...
