We stayed 2 nights at the Centara Grand hotel around the corner and ate at this place unintentionally, and man… it was a BLESSING. Originally, we planned to eat somewhere else, but because my picky Vietnamese girlfriend NEEDED her coffee a certain way every morning(drip coffee with EXTRA condense milk served with a full cup of crumbled ice cubes), she searched up the nearest Vietnamese restaurants.
This place is a minute walk from our hotel. It’s a small mom and pop shop with 8 bar seats and 3 or 4 two-person high tables. The taste of the Pho is authentic. And the best is, the shop manager (owner?) did as my request give me some fresh yellow chilli slices. I guess he didn’t prepare for it and had to cut the chilli immediately upon my request. He is...
