The hostess and staff were very friendly from greeting us outside and patiently explaining the menu in English as best as possible. All staff were smiling and friendly.
The food was AMAZING! My Australian partner has never had kimchi, wagyu beef, or cooked his own food before and thoroughly enjoyed everything. We had a 17 course set dinner with A5 wagyu beef and seafood. The seafood was fresh and amazing. The salad was divine. We were not the biggest fans of the soup but everything else was delicious. The pineapple dessert could’ve been bigger but well worth the money for the price.

The set menu? Overpriced and underwhelming. Beef priced at 4000 JPY per 100g. See the picture of what you get. Not an authentic Japanese Yakiniku but Korean BBQ. “Pork offal” is small intestine. “Pine ice cream” is two frozen pineapple chunks.
The service? Well below Japanese standards of respect. On arrival, the English-speaking waiter who showed us to our table spoke down to the us. He assumed we'll have the set menu. He assumed lady didn't need to see the menu. He said even you don't know what you ordered. He even accused the customer of lying!
