TLDR; [4.7 / 5.0]Solid, impressive “izakaya” near Westin Osaka.

The staff (particularly the server) were extremely friendly, going above and beyond to give us a seat at the restaurant and also to give us any recommendations.

Sake list was definitely one of the most unique collection I’ve seen, and I certainly enjoyed it.

Now for the most important aspect; food. Although we weren’t able to try some of the food, most of the dishes were tasty. Of the dishes we were able to try, I would highly recommend the firefly squid and the hamburg steak.

DO NOTE, however, you must order via QR code (website), and the translation is quite rough. That being said, I’m sure the staff will help you out!

Just arrived late in Osaka and was looking for a place to dine. Then we landed in this very small bar-like restaurant with a few guys passionately cooking right in front of you. Then the taste landed on us, but first with a fine dining-like platings, then hit us with a very simple and intense taste with various ingredients, from simple French fries, to mushrooms and beef, octopus and so on. this place should have more hype- excellent, interesting food with fabulous flavor combos. The tuna carpaccio special was insane- the picture doesn’t do it justice. Also love the roast beef with this blueberry sauce. The leeks, mushrooms, and eggplant/snap peas were divine. Lots of small plates, perfect for sampling lots of the menu.
