TLDR; [4.7 / 5.0]Solid, impressive “izakaya” near Westin Osaka.

The staff (particularly the server) were extremely friendly, going above and beyond to give us a seat at the restaurant and also to give us any recommendations.

Sake list was definitely one of the most unique collection I’ve seen, and I certainly enjoyed it.

Now for the most important aspect; food. Although we weren’t able to try some of the food, most of the dishes were tasty. Of the dishes we were able to try, I would highly recommend the firefly squid and the hamburg steak.

Just arrived late in Osaka and was looking for a place to dine. Then we landed in this very small bar-like restaurant with a few guys passionately cooking right in front of you. Then the taste landed on us, but first with a fine dining-like platings, then hit us with a very simple and intense taste with various ingredients, from simple French fries, to mushrooms and beef, octopus and so on. this place should have more hype- excellent, interesting food with fabulous flavor combos. The tuna carpaccio special was insane- the picture doesn’t do it justice.
