Great bar within walking distance from the Westin Hotel in Osaka. The ambience is jazz lounge where they have a huge vinyl collection on display and the DJ utilizes it alongside olden wooden speakers powered by amps with old transistors. Has a hipster feel, but very welcoming for anyone.
The bartender knows enough English to make orders and carry small conversations. Cocktails are made deliberately and are a treat to just watch, from pouring to chilling glasses with oversized ice cubes.
There is a small cover charge, but the process of the drinks makes up for it when compared to your hotel bar.
Definitely recommend this place if your need somewhere to go on a late night out...

The foods and drinks were great albeit the price being a little pricey for what it was. What really disappointed me was the service of a guy who seemed like the manager. We were seated on the top floor and there was a gap on the table. So when we were talking I accidentally toppled a glass and it fell onto the first floor. It was completely my fault and I agree wholeheartedly to pay for the full damage but the attitude of the male staff there was unacceptable. For a second there I thought I was the one working there and not...
Read moreThis is a pretty awesome bar. Great vibe, decor and feel, but some parts about it aren't as amazing. The old fashioned comes with a lot of crushed ice, which isn't really the way to make it and gives it a lot less flavor - so what's the point of ordering a drink if it just tastes like a watered down version of what it is? If it had just one big ice cube in it, like they put in their Moscow Mule (which is fabulous), it would be better. There's also a 600 yen service charge. So, go here and get a Moscow mule and stay for a while because it's very very cool, just make sure you stay for a while to get your service...
