Shichifukujin Higashishinsaibashi — Restaurant in Osaka

English menu is available with the same prices as the Japanese one. The host didn't speak fluent English but made good effort communicating with us, including detailed instructions on how to enjoy and properly cook the food. He was attentive and checked on us frequently during the meal courses. The food is fresh, delicious, professionally and swiftly served; pufferfish is one of my top fish and I eat a lot of sushi/sashimi. “Ah Fugu oishi” Well it's been about a year since last visiting this restaurant and it's as good as last time. 這天環球影城一日遊提早結束行程，三個累爆軟爛的人，躺在飯店床上。

「今天沒有安排餐廳耶。」 「附近隨便吃就好了吧。」

於是打開 google map，開始以飯店為中心瀏覽附近的餐廳們，最後選了這間評價還不錯，且有中文菜單的河豚料理店。

其實幾年前吃過河豚套餐的經驗非常普通，導致後來一直對河豚料理興致缺缺，就是個不覺得不好吃但也沒什麼特別的東西，但今天不知道為什麼，一直冒出一種必須再給河豚一次機會的感覺。

結果真的整個大驚艷，不管是口味、份量都令人非常滿足；這一次才真的吃懂所謂的淡雅高級感是什麼，從冷盤、前菜、火鍋到雜炊每一樣都好好吃；深深覺得 N 年前在京都吃的連鎖店根本是在開玩笑。

後來再細查才發現這邊雖然有中文菜單，但感覺應該是應付為數不多的外國人遊客用的，它比較偏向是在地人的愛店，當天店內除了我們也都是下班的日本人。

雖然下次再來關西可能也會是很多年後了，這輩子也不見得會有機會再訪，但這餐真的算是這趟最大的驚喜之一，意外撿到的寶藏店。
