Starbucks Coffee - Namba SkyO 3F — Restaurant in Osaka

I would like to express my disappointment regarding an unpleasant service experience at your Starbucks Namba Skyo 3F location on June 10, 2025, between 3:00 and 4:00 PM.

While I was waiting in line to order, I took a small step forward to read the menu board, making sure not to disturb other customers or disrupt the queue. A staff member(male) frowned and gestured at me with their hand, as if shooing me away. This felt disrespectful and completely unnecessary.

Later, after receiving my drink, I politely asked to have it changed into a takeaway cup. The drink was transferred into a paper cup—but without a lid. When I attempted to get a lid and cup holder myself (as is typically self-service in Korea), the same staff member frowned again and sharply said, “Don’t touch!” I felt as though I was being treated with hostility for no clear reason.

It was especially upsetting to end what had been a joyful and memorable trip to Osaka with my friends on such a negative note.

As Osaka is beloved by travelers from around the world—and with Namba Station being such a major hub—I sincerely hope Starbucks will take greater care with customer service at this location.

Was keen to see what is so good abt SB reserve. Saw this Vanilla Bean latte. Personally, I hate those coffees that hv artificial syrup added in them.. eg gingerbread etc. But I thought this being reserve and they actually used the word BEAN.
