I visited this restaurant hoping to enjoy an avocado toast. Upon inquiring, I was informed that it was only available during breakfast hours, and it was currently lunchtime. I pointed out that they had all the necessary ingredients and expressed my willingness to pay the lunch price. However, I was told that the manager had decided not to serve that dish outside of breakfast hours.
I explained that none of the lunch options appealed to me and asked if I could simply have toast with avocado—two ingredients they had on hand—and requested to be charged accordingly. Unfortunately, they refused, stating that it would essentially be an avocado toast, which they only serve in the morning.
There was no logical reason for this refusal: they had the ingredients, I was willing to pay, the restaurant wasn’t busy, so I wasn’t occupying a table needed for other customers. The only reason seemed to be a rigid adherence to an arbitrary rule without consideration for customer...
Read moreThis was our second visit to the cafe. We enjoyed lunch last time, so we decided to come back for dinner with the family.
My husband and daughter ordered the avocado, bacon, and cheese hamburger plate, my son chose the carbonara, and I went for the seasonal salad — they were all absolutely delicious!
For dessert, we ordered some carrot cake with matcha latte, caramel latte, and cafe latte. Each came with beautiful latte art and tasted fantastic.
We appreciated that the cafe offered English menus, and the staff were fluent in English, making it easy and stress-free. Although we were initially concerned about bringing kids to such a stylish cafe, the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming toward them, allowing us to relax and enjoy the meal.
The wagyu steak and grilled fish on the dinner menu looked amazing, so I’m already looking forward to trying them on our next visit!...
Read moreWe were really excited to come across a good Western cafe with good reviews. The food was good, well cooked and seasoned. We had the shashuka, French toast and big breakfast.
Please do not add on the avocado for ¥300 - it was very hard and unripe. I could barely cut it, let alone eat it.
The drinks were disappointing on the whole. The iced matcha lattes were lumpy and too sweet. My iced almond latte was sour and undrinkable. When I mentioned it to the staff, they explained that the almond milk was sour (?) and offered me a replacement iced oat latte. It was better but a generous 2/5 by Australian standards.
The space is a bit too small, not enough space to cut your food without bumping elbows with the person next to you. We also waited 25 mins for a space as it was busy / limited tables.
Overall, an ok experience if you are craving bacon and eggs...
