Who would have thought that a restaurant run by a rice cooker company in a mall would be so tasty? They try their best to highlight the rice and their ability to cook them to perfection.

They have 4 set menus and some of them only have a limited quantities available each day so they might run out of some items. We opted for Japanese black beef cutlet set and the sea bream chazuke.

While they were both delicious, my favourite was the sea bream. You can have some pieces as sashimi while other pieces are placed on top of the rice and a hot fish broth is poured over them to create a porridge. The flavour was very mild and subtle but there was also deep umami. When you eat them with all the side dishes that come with the set, it was absolutely phenomenal.

There is usually a wait so try to get there early or get a reservation but I highly recommend that you check...

After our shopping, we find out that a lot of locals come to have lunch. So we waited and then found we have to register our number. Unfortunately, the service did not tell us.

Rice crispy or not decided your experience of dining. I choose a standard one, pouring the hot tea into rice. Also, you can add some wasabi. It’s not easy to find this restaurant if you haven’t been here. But the rice and food is delicious and not too pricey. Recommended for people who don’t want heavy meal and also want to try some Japanese food. The main thing that they are selling is their rice. The restaurant provides three different kinds of rice, first is soft rice, second is a bit hard and the third is health mix rice. The waitress recommended me the soft rice and I really like it.
