After eating a lot of Japanese food, I was craving for some Classic Club Sandwich and the closest that I could find to my hotel is at the lobby lounge - Ritz Carlton, Osaka. The staff there was extremely courteous and polite and especially Yakimoro he was a darling. With his limited English capability he made conversation and was extremely professional. Kudos to him. Coming to the food, the club sandwich was exactly the way I like it, with all the ingredients fresh and heavenly in every bite. I would have preferred my hand cut fries to be extra crispy but that's my choice. (Just note that the club sandwich is smaller in size and not like your New York one which is huge). However for me the portion size was perfect and I wouldn't complain. Thank you chef. Ok not complaining but just my OCPD speaking, with Ritz Carlton I always expect perfection, and where I was sitting from there a lot of lamp shades were a bit tilted and that was kinda bothering me. Also the glass on the table had a lot of scratches and the bud vase needs a good polishing. If these small little things can be looked into, I am sure Ritz can provide an even better perfect experience. Thank you so much for everything. 🙏🏼

10여년전 이 호텔의 그 유명한 딸기애프터눈티 뷔페를 당시 일본여행 초창기시절~ 호텔 레스토랑 예약도 첨으로 성공해서 방문했던 기억이 있는 추억의 장소입니다. 이번에 와서 보니 그때 두근두근 갔었던 스플렌디도가 로비라운지 건너편이었군요. 반갑습니다.^^ 그때도 지금도 여전히 혼자 예약하고 같은장소의 다른 레스토랑으로 찾습니다. 가을시즌의 끝자락으로 방문합니다. 차주부터는 패스티브시즌이 시작하며 크리스마스를 선보이구요. 저는 로제샴팡이 첨부된 시그니처 애프터눈티로 특별한 시간을 가집니다. 시그니처가 붙는 이유는 호텔베이커리에서 팔고 있는 제품들이 스위츠류를 구성하고 있기 때문입니다. 세이보리류가 4종, 스위츠류가 5종에 스콘2종의 레퍼토리입니다. 가장 이상적인 애프터눈티의 조합으로 살짝 양이 적게 느껴질 수는 있지만 티타임에 좀 더 집중할 수 있는 구성입니다. 가짓수가 많아질수록 먹기 바빠지기 쉽습니다. 이날은 1일 2회차 애프터눈티를 참가하는 날이라 두번째 애프터눈티의 선택으로는 탁월한 초이스입니다. 샴팡에 세이보리로 먼저 시작합니다. 애프터눈티와 페어링이 좋은 드링크류는 크게 샴페인을 포함한 스파클링류, 커피류, 티류(홍차, 허브티, 녹차등등)로 그밖에 쥬스류를 제공하는곳도 있습니다. 기호에 따라 선택하시면 좋습니다. 저는 트레이가 나오기전 카페라떼를, 세이보리류엔 샴팡을, 스위츠류는 홍차에 즐기는 타입입니다. 음료는 조건에 따라 바뀌기도 합니다. 샴팡이 붙는 곳이라 홍차류만 2잔 주문했구요. 티팟없이 잔으로 제공되어 집니다. 먼저 방문했던 리츠칼튼 오키나와, 교토, 도쿄등은 티팟에 나오긴 했습니다. 장단점이 있습니다. 티팟이면 같은 차를 최소 2잔은 마셔야지만, 테이블웨어를 제대로 갖추며 누릴 수 있구요. 컵으로 받으면 여러종류를 마시는데 있어서 핸디캡이 사라지는 효과를 줍니다. 주어지는 환경속에 그대로 따르기만 하면 전혀 문제될 것이 없는 일본입니다. 생애 첫 애프터눈티가 오키나와점에서 였는데, 그때 먹는 방법이라던지 순서에 대해 상세하게 설명을 받습니다. 그것이 계기가 되어 이후로 300회 가까이 애프터눈티를 즐겨오고 있습니다. 이 날 오사카에서는 오토피아노 연주가 계속해서 흘러 나오는데, 몇차례 음이탈이 나더군요.🤣 아직은 인간이 기계보다 완벽하나 봅니다. 1차 애프터눈티에서 프랑스를 경험했는데, 이곳 오사카는 영국에 온듯한 기분이 드는게 분명 교토, 오사카여행을 하는중인데 유럽을 여행하고 있네요.^^ 감사합니다.

Ok not complaining but just my OCPD speaking, with Ritz Carlton I always expect perfection, and where I was sitting from there a lot of lamp shades were a bit tilted and that was kinda bothering me. Also the glass on the table had a lot of scratches and the bud vase needs a good polishing. If these small little things can be looked into, I am sure Ritz can provide an even better perfect experience.

10여년전 이 호텔의 그 유명한 딸기애프터눈티 뷔페를 당시 일본여행 초창기시절~ 호텔 레스토랑 예약도 첨으로 성공해서 방문했던 기억이 있는 추억의 장소입니다.

이번에 와서 보니 그때 두근두근 갔었던 스플렌디도가 로비라운지 건너편이었군요. 반갑습니다.^^ 그때도 지금도 여전히 혼자 예약하고 같은장소의 다른 레스토랑으로 찾습니다.

가을시즌의 끝자락으로 방문합니다. 차주부터는 패스티브시즌이 시작하며 크리스마스를 선보이구요. 저는 로제샴팡이 첨부된 시그니처 애프터눈티로 특별한 시간을 가집니다.

시그니처가 붙는 이유는 호텔베이커리에서 팔고 있는 제품들이 스위츠류를 구성하고 있기 때문입니다. 세이보리류가 4종, 스위츠류가 5종에 스콘2종의 레퍼토리입니다.

가장 이상적인 애프터눈티의 조합으로 살짝 양이 적게 느껴질 수는 있지만 티타임에 좀 더 집중할 수 있는 구성입니다. 가짓수가 많아질수록 먹기 바빠지기 쉽습니다.

이날은 1일 2회차 애프터눈티를 참가하는 날이라 두번째 애프터눈티의 선택으로는 탁월한 초이스입니다. 샴팡에 세이보리로 먼저 시작합니다.

애프터눈티와 페어링이 좋은 드링크류는 크게 샴페인을 포함한 스파클링류, 커피류, 티류(홍차, 허브티, 녹차등등)로 그밖에 쥬스류를 제공하는곳도 있습니다.

기호에 따라 선택하시면 좋습니다. 저는 트레이가 나오기전 카페라떼를, 세이보리류엔 샴팡을, 스위츠류는 홍차에 즐기는 타입입니다. 음료는 조건에 따라 바뀌기도 합니다.

샴팡이 붙는 곳이라 홍차류만 2잔 주문했구요. 티팟없이 잔으로 제공되어 집니다. 먼저 방문했던 리츠칼튼 오키나와, 교토, 도쿄등은 티팟에 나오긴 했습니다. 장단점이 있습니다.

티팟이면 같은 차를 최소 2잔은 마셔야지만, 테이블웨어를 제대로 갖추며 누릴 수 있구요. 컵으로 받으면 여러종류를 마시는데 있어서 핸디캡이 사라지는 효과를 줍니다.

주어지는 환경속에 그대로 따르기만 하면 전혀 문제될 것이 없는 일본입니다. 생애 첫 애프터눈티가 오키나와점에서 였는데, 그때 먹는 방법이라던지 순서에 대해 상세하게 설명을 받습니다.

그것이 계기가 되어 이후로 300회 가까이 애프터눈티를 즐겨오고 있습니다. 이 날 오사카에서는 오토피아노 연주가 계속해서 흘러 나오는데, 몇차례 음이탈이 나더군요.🤣 아직은 인간이 기계보다 완벽하나 봅니다.

Atmosphere: Overall it is pretty good. However, the lighting is too dark to even read the menu for older people. It is a maze to find your way there from the main entrance. Now it is non-smoking, so that is a plus! Tasteful and luxurious décor.
