Tonkatsu KYK — Restaurant in Osaka

Okay as of today 04/08/2023 I became a fan of this place.

5 stars is not enough to grade this location.

Food: well they certainly gave justice to the food as what you see is what you get plsu you get free refills.

Service: They do reach out and ask you if you want a refill which they do very fast.. 10-15seconds lol. 10star rating.

Atmosphere: I am a foreigner but I felt at home on this place, for me its very important as there is no place like home.

They have an English Menu on their tablet which is super easy to operate... they also have a paper menu option.

If you happen to drop by Porta Dinning in Kyoto this is probably one of the greatest deals that place...

Food: 3 stars

Didnt taste very fresh, but was still decent. Came with plentiful sides and a refill on rice and cabbage. Full points there.

Service: 2 stars

I realize my Japanese isn't perfect but I would appreciate not being laughed at or spoken about right in front of me. Really guys? I am not deaf.

This is a chain that is frequented by tourists so I understand why they feel comfortable doing this but it is impolite regardless.

Thanks for the extra helping of tsukemono and being so pleasantly energetic! If it were just you I would come back more often.

Cheap, but I would spend an extra 300 yen and go to...

Food was average to say the least, but the service was really poor. There was an older female waitress who was on duty who was very rude to us. Firstly, she did not explain that we were entitled to free top-ups given that we ordered 2 meals. It left us very confused and wep had to ask to find out. We were sharing food as well and she came over to snatch our sharing plate away and raised her voice at us that we were not allowed to share. We felt that she could have explained politely and handled the situation better.. Quite disappointed at the service… will not...
