Highly recommended!! This is a small business mainly for grilled eel. The price is incredible! I’ve had street stands selling full grilled eel for ¥3800 in Osaka. Supermarket grilled eel is often ¥2800+. But here, it’s only 2500. For smaller portion, the price is less. You also have the option of a one-piece eel bowl for only 590. Delicious! Great for those who wanna give Japanese grilled eel rice bowl a try. As a fan of this dish, I’m confident to tell that it’s a bargain hard to find anywhere in major cities, in Japan and elsewhere! Yes the service is basic. Well it IS a place where people come for a quick meal. What service do you expect at McDonald? You call waiters when you need them. The staffs there take the order quickly and are very friendly! If you like eggs/omelette, also recommend the omelette wrapped grilled eel specialty dish. Yummy 😋. Leaving a review cuz I feel the 4 star does not do this...

Food in general is good. Unagi especially is very tender and grilled beautifully. Liver soup is tasty. Pickles and egg roll are decent, but nothing special.
Service is kind of nonexistent. Chicken skewer set (thigh, skin, ground chicken, cartilage, fat) took a very long time to come out - so long that we were done our entire unagi bowls and accompaniments by the time it arrived. Skewers were generally quite tasty, but I'm not really a fan of grilled cartilage at all. Other...
Read moreService is wonderful, the staff are really friendly! There is an english menu as well so rest assured. I wouldn't say its the best unagi-don but I think it was alright. At the very least it was charcoal grilled! Pretty much the minimum requirement. The eel was soft and tasty too.
Cant compare to the famous shops but for the price, I don't think you can complain much.
Visa and Mastercard doesn't really seem to work so bring cash...
