Yes they may know very little English, however they are the most attentive and try their absolute best to still talk to you. I had the omakase that was 14 courses and it was absolutely amazing! One chef is 79 and another is 67 and they were trying their best to name each fish and ingredient on it while the hostess Yumi assisted. I ended up having the best dinner and conversation with them (over google translate). If you want something authentic (hi no soy sauce needed bc the rice is seasoned in red vinegar) then definitely come here! Read moreAmazing authentic sushi spot! The sushi was super fresh and delicious. The staff were so friendly and fun — we all communicated through broken English, broken Japanese, and lots of hand gestures, laughs, and smiles. They even used Google Translate or pointed to the English names of the fish to make sure we knew what we were eating. It’s a small, cozy place packed with locals — we were the only tourists — and it felt like a true, authentic sushi experience. Highly recommend! Grab a reservation if you can and pricing was ¥6600/person for a 14...
