Wa-dining Wadachi — Restaurant in Osaka

Dinner: Poorly balanced average-tasting food with poor cost performance. The venue and service was very normal, just a standard Japanese pub. The food also tasted average, but was very poorly balanced in its portions. The course we got consisted of several very small portions of various dishes (such as piles of 7 absurdly small slices of sashimi, which we were instructed to share between 7 people) followed by a giant bucket of starchy soup as if they expected us to chug it down to fill up at the end. Not a bad experience in the end, but would not recommend.

Lunch: Cheap, fast, tasty food! I had a much better experience at lunchtime than dinner. It wasn't perfect, with the young guys running the lunch shift forgetting things and constantly arguing in the back, but the food was good, and the endless curry was...

13時過ぎに入店。 女性店員さんがお出迎え＆ご案内。 先客3名様。 １階のカウンター席に案内されましたが、どうやら、2階席もあるようです。

着席して、すぐに注文。 唐揚げ定食お願いします。

待つこと約5分... 来ました！唐揚げ定食！ タレがかかっているタイプの唐揚げなのね。

唐揚げを... やや大きめサイズの唐揚げを半分に切って、一口大サイズ。 ちょっと揚げ感の弱い衣で、ややパサついた肉質。 チキン南蛮みたいな甘酸っぱい系のタレがかかっているのが自分は、ちょっと苦手。

特製キーマカレーを... キーマという程、ひき肉は入ってない感じ。 お口に入れてみると、990カレー的な味わい。 んー。 特製なのかー。

ごはんがかなり、パサつきめだったので、カレーをぶっかけて、食べます。

味噌汁、かなり薄味。

とりあえず、カレーとごはんをおかわりして、お腹いっぱい。...
