Dinner: Poorly balanced average-tasting food with poor cost performance. The venue and service was very normal, just a standard Japanese pub. The food also tasted average, but was very poorly balanced in its portions. The course we got consisted of several very small portions of various dishes (such as piles of 7 absurdly small slices of sashimi, which we were instructed to share between 7 people) followed by a giant bucket of starchy soup as if they expected us to chug it down to fill up at the end. Not a bad experience in the end, but would not recommend. Lunch: Cheap, fast, tasty food! I had a much better experience at lunchtime than dinner. It wasn't perfect, with the young guys running the lunch shift forgetting things and constantly arguing in the back, but the food was good, and the endless curry was a nice touch.
