Yakiniku Rikimaru Umeda-ohatsutenjin, is an exceptional Wagyu dining experience. Walked in at the opening bell 5pm on a weekday to no queue nor a reservation and but was seated promptly. After being shown to your table, the staff will explain the menu and system to you.
The Wagyu rib and loin stand out for their tenderness and juiciness, but it's the beef skirt from the standard menu that surprises many with its tenderness and rich flavor.
Service is a highlight, with a friendly waitress from Indonesia, Jessica being notably helpful and polite, adding to the overall experience.
The 90-minute premium course, priced at 6,200 JPY, offers great value, especially given the quality of the beef cuts. It includes a brief but sufficient 70 minutes of ordering time. The fresh veggies and salads served alongside the grilled Wagyu beef also add a refreshing touch to the meal. Sides such as cold noodles was a refreshing tangy departure from the monotone of fatty meats.
Do leave space and order the desert parfait, a beautiful concoction of ice cream and traditional Japanese sweet toppings.

Read moreAs a tourist going to visit Japan, I made my online reservation 4 weeks before from overseas, on the restaurant(焼肉力丸)'s official website reservation system, and I have received email confirmation.
No further contact received from the restaurant, I have also sent message to 焼肉力丸's official Facebook page to confirm my reservation, but they did not reply at all.
On the day, me and my family arrived the restaurant on time as per our reservation, but the reception staff said they don't have my reservation. I showed the staff the confirmation email I received, he was not sure why my reservation was not in their system, and the restaurant was full so we cannot eat there.
It was obviously very disappointing for everyone in our group, including elderly and young kids, we travelled quite far to come to this restaurant, tired and hungry, but only to find that they don't have my reservation.
I give 2 stars instead of 1 only because the male reception staff was friendly and he tried his best to help, and immediately made a booking for us with 焼肉力丸's another restaurant 10mins walk away, so that we could walk...
Read morePretty good all you can eat place. Gets the job done if you're trying to satisfy that itch. We got the Wagyu version which was pretty delicious, but not completely necessary. I think the standard or premium would be just as delicious for a competitive price.
The staff were friendly and nice. My only complaint is that sometimes parts of an order seemed to be missed. So it's hard to tell if it's still going to come or not or what the issue is. You wait like 15mins because maybe it will come but its tricky since you're on a time limit. I think they could work on their accuracy or implement a system to double check.
Last issue is the scissors they give you has a plastic guard but it's all melted and deformed because people use it over the BBQ, so it looks contaminated with plastic. They need a different pair of scissors that won't melt. Also, the plastic cutting board they bring if you order Wagyu steak. It's all beat up and looks like bits of plastic (again) are ending up in the food but this one is less of a problem.
