Yuhigaoka — Restaurant in Osaka

I went to this cafe twice. Once with my friends and once alone. It is right next to the station and it was a very welcome break from the heat after going to the Shi Tennoji flea market. The first time I got a fruits parfait. It was very generous and very good overall. The second time I got some simple sandwiches (ham / egg) and pancakes. I forgot to take a picture of the sandwiches but they’re very simple sandwiches. Exactly what it says it is. The pancakes were served hot with a side of canned fruits and whip cream and a sweet sauce to add yourself so you can put as little / as much as you want. Overall it was simple food but I was not disappointed. I want to go again and try a few other things on their menu. The prices are reasonable.

For smokers, you can smoke inside. I don’t smoke, but I wasn’t too bothered because of the air conditioner and the fans put around the cafe.

The cafe staff (or maybe she is the owner ?) was absolutely lovely. Very friendly and kind. She makes you feel confortable and makes you want to go back.

Another plus would be that the seats are very confortable, it’s a good place to take a break with a drink/meal/snack and maybe a book or...

Don't look at the shop as it is. Surprisingly, they provide good food although the menu in Japanese. They do provide an English menu, but it don't sell the same item as the Japanese menu. Try looking into the Japanese menu and you will find good food. A lot ojisan likes to chill there with ice coffee...

【広々店内の喫茶店】

四天王寺前夕陽ヶ丘駅2番出口から徒歩1分ほどにある喫茶店・夕陽丘さん！

一面ガラス張りの店内は、日中陽が入って明るいです。 店内広々で、ソファ席も。 喫煙OKのため店内煙草の匂いはします。

よく利用している方から「海鮮ピラフが美味しくて量もあってオススメ」と聞いていて食べたかったものの、胃袋の具合から今回は軽食にしました。
