this is the REAL Japan experience - Small cozy cottage, Japanese-style grilled food with Sapporo beer to complement your meal. The grilled Atka Mackarel and scallop are absolutely phenomenal. When paired with the onigiri (grilled rice) and a glass of beer, it makes for such an unforgettable dining experience. 11/10, would recommend - Owner also very nice and humble to foreigners! P.S. max 8 people inside - So space might be quite limited - Make sure to go during quite hours if you want a guaranteed seat.

Came in for a quick drink and small seafood dishes. The owner was super understanding for allowing us to try small dishes before she closed the shop.

Chanced upon this little restaurant but what a delight this was!! So happy we found this place by “accident.” We had the scallops, mackerel, and squid. Everything was done so well with care. The ingredients were fresh and service was quick. Pls come here when you’re in Otaru.
