A small, cozy little cocktail bar, neatly tucked away on the second floor.

Don't let the cover charge scare you away - the cocktails here are top-notch, and are well worth their price.

This place seats maybe 15 people at best, and seems to be relatively quiet in the evenings compared to some of the other bars in the area. This only adds to the charm and atmosphere of this bar, as you watch cocktails be expertly made in front of you, with a backdrop of a beautifully presented liquor shelf.

I had a negroni and an original cocktail (homemade lemon gin, an store-made herbal liquor, and lime juice). With cover charge, it totalled just over 3,000 yen.

It was my third time visiting Sapporo and Bar Craftsman is by far the best cocktail bar in town. The owner and the female bartender are not only kind and welcoming, but are also incredibly talented at creating custom cocktails —their frozen cocktails are exceptionally good too.

They were able to take all kinds of weird requests from us to produce inventive cocktails — some of the highlights including a shine muscat grape drink, a sweet potato drink, a pink guava milk punch, and their take on a McDonald’s soft serve.

Would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for quality cocktails in Sapporo, and we can’t wait...

If you are a whiskey lover you MUST visit this bar. The owner and the main bar tender is a huge whiskey expert with a unique collection of rare whiskeys, Japanese and others. He is also a rewarded cocktail expert ( 2nd place in Asia competition ) and makes amazing unique cocktails. His partner is also extremely knowledgeable and shows lots of respect to her boss and mentor.
