Sapporo Susukino Ramen Yokocho Shimijimi — Restaurant in Sapporo

We wanted a lighter seafood ramen instead of tonkotsu and were so happy to find Shimijimi ramen! It’s at the popular ramen yokocho in Susukino and while all the other shops have long lines and this shop doesn’t, it’s still defo worth a try! My partner and I tried both the shio and miso clam ramen broths (we added an egg) and they were both sooo delicious! The soup is full of clam umami and they provide a special condiment for when you’re about to finish the soup: basil in basil oil! We went to the shop 3 times to keep our bodies warm this winter ! Most of ramen restaurants here will have long queue waiting because there are very famous for tourist to have their dinner. Finally I ended up at Ichikura Ramen since there is no queue to wait. Respect to the chef whose willing to burn her entire kitchen down for some great ramen. Never had any ramen that tasted like this, delicious seafood and clams broth with no pork-ingredients at all.
