Very high value and popular buffet breakfast place! Serve both western and Japanese style breakfast menus. The rich Hokkaido styled ramen and thick toast topped with Hokkaido fresh cream always have long lines. But we like the traditional Japanese breakfast the most: grilled salmon and mackerel, a large variety of appetizers, miso soup and plain rice! But one puzzle: why fruits seem to be of limited supply for some reason?! Nevertheless, we had breakfast here 4 times in 5 days!

There are 3 options for breakfast in Hoshino Resorts Tomamu the Tower This place, “Hal” is the BEST for variety of foods, taste and the view is nice Very spacious and super comfortable This place offers the lunch and dinner buffet for reservation only, except for breakfast it’s no need a reservation If you have children, and do not have breakfast voucher, only add ¥1,000 per person Extremely RECOMMENDED and it’s s a must place for breakfast

Buffet was expensive for what it offered; not many choices. Crab and steak station was popular but didn’t taste good at all, the steak was overcooked and crab not fresh. Can’t compare to the buffet we had at other onsen hotels/resorts. Did not have fresh fruit; cakes were poorly presented in large glass tubs instead of small cut pieces. Overall disappointing. Only thing we enjoyed was the crab miso soup.

Hal is better than Nininupuri for breakfast. It’s more premium in my opinion - staff show you to an assigned seat (you need to find your own in Nininupuri), the oyako salmon don is made individually for you, pastry selection is more diverse and the French toast tastes better too! More premium selection of morning beverages than Nininupuri too. The French toast is the BEST I’ve ever eaten.

It’s a “Crab and Salmon” themed buffet dinner, yet the salmon is presented “rudely” in large chunks and piled up like watermelon cubes. The crab legs are not exactly fresh, and so salty that it covers up all the crab taste. Shrimps are fresh but tiny. Service from some staffs are good, some can be better. Alas! The soft serve ice cream compensates some of the disappointment.

何度か利用している道民です。 数年ぶりにタワーに1泊した際に、夕食はニニヌプリにしたので朝食はこちらにしました。 日曜日の朝のため混雑は覚悟していましたが、まず整理券の発券に行列。整理券の発券になぜそんなに時間かがかるのか···。 7時過ぎに並び、整理券の発券に約15分、その後店内に呼ばれるのにさらに25分ほど待ちました。 これだけ並んでるので中は満席なんだろうと思っていたら、空き席多数、片付けが終わっていない席も多数で、とにかくスタッフが足りてないのかと思います。朝食のメインのフレンチトーストもひとりで作っているため常に行列で、気の毒に感じてしまいました。 赤ちゃん連れだったので、案内してくださった日本人ではないスタッフの方にバウンサーをお願いしたところ、無いと言われましたが、後からきた他の方は利用していたので、そのようなサービスは日本人の方にお願いした方が間違いないかもしれません。 料理は全体的にちょっと種類が少ないかなという印象でした。サーモンといくらの親子丼、フレンチトーストはとっても美味しかったですが、他に美味しいものは特になかったのが残念でした。パンの種類は豊富でしたが、パサパサな物が多かったです。 朝食なのにフルーツはりんごしかなく、どこの朝食にもありそうなフルーツカクテル、あとはたしかハーブが入った子供は食べられなさそうなコンポートがありました。朝食のフルーツにオシャレさはいらないので、普通に新鮮なオレンジやグレープフルーツ、バナナ、パイナップルがあったらよかったなと思いました。(バナナとパイナップルはフルーツカクテルに少し入ってました) また、料金については大人は宿泊料金に入ってるので良いですが、5歳の子供が1400円は高すぎるなと思いました。1400円分もとてもじゃないけど食べません。 親子丼、フレンチトーストが本当に美味しかったのでまた食べたいなと思いますが、次回宿泊の際の朝食はニニヌプリにします。
