米と肉 — Restaurant in Takayama

I really loved just sitting here and enjoying a break from walking around Takayama. I found the iced matcha was perfect and my partner got the espresso matcha latte, this i found to be perfect as well. However I do not really like coffee so much and so it was sweet enough for me to not really taste it. I would recommend those who want something not so sweet to either ask for it to not be or just get something else. Because to me it was sweet enough to remind me of caramel.

So everything I loved. But for those with not so much of a sweet teeth...

I thought they only have coffee and tea so imagine my surprise when I saw Hida rice burger. I thought I'm leaving Takayama without having tasted Hida.

The little ordering window is misleading since they have a cozy seating for about 12 people. I went in after ordering and the lady gave me a glass of water and a strawberry.

First place I found in Japan that has oat milk! I am lactose intolerant and it had been very difficult to find a place with other options apart from regular milk.
