I was ordering food at the counter, showing her what I wanted on the menu. I was holding the menu at an angle, so she couldn’t read it properly. Instead of kindly letting me know, she suddenly snapped at me, saying I should place the menu flat on the counter, aligned with her line of sight. I stood there silently, looking at her, making her realize she had overreacted. She seemed to feel bad and started explaining herself again. But the moment had already ruined my meal and the whole experience—there was a bad vibe in the place...

My favorite Onigiri in Japan. The Onigiri are fresh and delicious, made by a lovely woman. When I explained that I have a wheat allergy, she thoroughly went through the ingredients in order to ensure that I could have the Salmon Onigiri. When I requested Miso soup, she checked and saw that the paste contained wheat, and then immediately went forward and cooked me my own soup with ingredients she made sure I could eat. The onigiris from this shop cannot be compared to those from Convenient stores and other onigiri shops in the town.

The owner was nice and friendly, to explain the flavor and rice options plus the sizes of onigiris with perfect match recommendation. You can feel the rice they use is a high quality product as when you chew it is kinda crunch outside but soft inside.

The rice was also suitably cooked. It was so satisfying...
