the latest project from the Tonchang Group. This location takes the Tonchang formula (the originators of Korean pork belly in Tokyo) and deliver with a modern twist; one that definitely does not disappoint. Many Korean restaurants in the area spread themselves very thin, trying to serve everything and anything that can be considered Korean food. This location of Tonchang decides to take a very different direction from other Tonchang’s locations and other restaurants in the area. Focusing on a limited menu with very high quality ingredients with everything cooked table side; this is easily my favorite restaurant in Korea town hands down. The service from the staff was excellent, smiling and friendly, and they grilled the meat with great care. I didn't have to grill it myself and it was easy and delicious. I was very satisfied with my meal at Tonchan Samgyeopsal! The restaurant was spacious and comfortable. The service from the staff was excellent, smiling and friendly, and they grilled the meat with great care. I didn't have to grill it myself and it was easy and delicious. I especially recommend the samgyeopsal (three slices of pork), which was crispy and savory on the outside and juicy on the inside. I would definitely like to come back to this restaurant!
