Shin-Okubo is a well-known Korean street that is within reach of Shinjuku.
Korean restaurants serve authentic cuisine except the prices are unreasonable at most places.
I recommend this Korean restaurant as the portion is generous and there is a good selection of set meals for approximately 12 US dollars.
Generally, pork is my least favorite. However, because it is the signature dish I tried it last time, and since then I have really liked the Grilled Pork Belly set.

Worst experience with Korean BBQ so far. Not fresh, very stinky meat—I can smell the bad smell right when they started grilling it in front of us.
