About 30 seats in a broad layout on the second floor. Lots of window and airy feeling with Indian TV and decorations, though the staff is from Nepal. Seems to be a religious lecture on the TV, but also a bit of Indian background music. Switched to music video later on. I asked about Wi-Fi and was encouraged to use theirs, though I had already connected to a free network. Both worked well. (No charging visible.) The menu was mostly as expected, though I did notice an unusual chocolate naan option. That would be interesting as a snack, especially if shared with a friend over coffee. I should note that the ashtrays mentioned in the previous review are gone now. I went with the special set rather than the usual basic set. Curry of the day was chicken with turnips in a thick base with strong spice. Middle is strong here, so not the Japanese scale. My second curry was beans, which is always thick. The skillfully cooked naan was barely sweet and on the light side. Salad and rice were average, but the egg was a nice touch. Maybe pushing a bit, but I think the consistency is strong enough I can nudge it just up to five stars. Original very brief review (from several years ago): Very solid 4 stars with a nice atmosphere and good food. Yet another Nepali place. Only concern was the ashtrays, but no one was smoking when I was there, even though it was full for the lunchtime crowd. Minor notes about Google Maps: The directions were odd and the name should be capitalized properly.

Absolutely delicious. Generous portions, very high quality; we get takeout from this place and it's excellent. Even my five-year-old loves it (well, most of it). If you see these gentlemen handing out flyers around Ogikubo station, definitely take one and keep...
