Classic 3.5 star place. Located on the 7th floor of a building cost to the Parco side of the Ikebukuro station. This is a chain restaurant, but it's great for a few reasons, especially for foreign tourists: You order by tablet which has multiple languages. You can also self checkout with the tablet or at the self service kiosk (they only take credit cards anyway) So you can dine without interacting with any staff. The entree generally comes with the drink bar. Which also had a ginger flavored soup with corn that kinda sucked so ymmv on the soup. But they have a cappuccino machine, tea machine and a soda fountain. Food is decidedly mediocre for local standards but it's cheap. It's TONS better than US McDonald's. If you have kids, they'll probably enjoy having their food delivered by a robot cat.
Went for breakfast and got the Hamburg steak with sunny side up egg for 990 yen. Sure it's the frozen burger patty with premade demiglaze sauce but at this price, it's still a bargain. If you want, you can have the unagi on rice for breakfast and it's only 1,355 yen which is currently under 10 USD. You do you. Anyway, the service is pretty quick, it wasn't crowded at all at 8:30 am on a Sunday. If you add in drink costs, it's not gonna be much different than getting your breakfast at a...
Read moreOverall a pretty decent place for a meal.
The food was good we were just in for breakfast. The toast is nice thick cuts, the chicken and fries were great. Crunchy fried chicken with long cuts of thick fries. The eggs were buttery and smooth.
There were a few off points though the hamburger breakfast patry was at best meh. It had no texture and was pure salt.
The quantity of food is huge for the low price. The drink bar is also limitless.
Overall juices, teas, and pops were good. Coffee was another story burnt.
Decor is modern and clean. Staff are quick and courteous.
The location is a bit of a pain to get to. There are 2 elevators that are in the building only 1 actually go to the...
Read morethis place is huge and was packed!!! despite that I didn't have to wait very long, I was guided to a small cosy booth for me by myself, the tablet was an easy English ordering system which made me feel super welcome. the cost was so cheap as well!! the fried chicken was so crispy and yum, and the option to ask for a takeaway container as well is so nice for me who can sometimes have a small appetite 🥹 you can call a waiter via the tablet as well, I was able to ask what was in one of the desserts this way. the waiter didn't know so he went to get the chef and he was able to tell me, I really appreciated that. I really enjoyed my simple lowkey but quality...
