ホルモン武蔵 押上 — Restaurant in Tokyo

Great late night option for adventurous eaters near the Sky Tree. For Americans unfamiliar with "horumon", it is similar to Korean BBQ but with offal. It is delicious and affordable, but you do need to leave your comfort zone a little.

There is an English menu available. If you don't know where to start, go with the 3-type or 5-type sampler. The heart ("hatsu") was extremely good and could have passed for a super tender steak.

I liked the open seating layout a lot. Tiny single-counter restaurants can feel intimidating since every other diner has to wait and listen while you get lost in interpretation with the cook. Here, though, the waitress can patiently answer your questions at your own table, and that is very nice.

Credit cards are accepted. The staff don't speak English but are friendly and will try to help. I visited on a Tuesday around 7:30PM and did not need a reservation. Spent about 3,000 yen for dinner and drinks and...

外から見ると店内の煙たさ凄い🫣 排煙機はあまり稼働してないかな？ 気にならない人は全然大丈夫👌🏻

ホルモン正直詳しくないのと、今まで あまり積極的には食べてこなかったから 盛り合わせの形で豚・牛をそれぞれ注文📝 いやー、これが美味しくてビックリ😫💕 元々の味付けが美味しくて、他に何か 足す必要はないなあといったところ！ 炭火っていうのも美味しいんだろうなあ🤤
