My husband and I came to 錦糸町 on a Saturday for a full day of shopping. When it was time for lunch, we weren’t sure what to eat, we wanted something nice but not too crazy. I looked online and found this restaurant, so we decided to give it a try.
It was around 2pm when we arrived. The restaurant was fairly busy, but there were still some empty seats, and we were seated right away at a high table with high chairs. The chairs were a bit difficult to sit on comfortably, but the atmosphere inside was cozy and pleasant.
The staff showed us the menu and directed us to order via QR code, which led to a LINE ordering system. I appreciated that the online menu included pictures and videos of the actual dishes, making it easier to decide what to order.
We started with a non-alcoholic beer for my husband, and shared the “Liver Paste with Blackcurrant Sauce” and “Garlic Toast.”
The liver paste was beautifully presented, resembling two scoops of pink ice cream. The taste was excellent, especially when paired with the crackers and the slightly tart blackcurrant sauce. The crackers had a nice texture and complemented the paste well. We did find the portion of sauce a bit too little for the dish, so we asked for a bit more.
The garlic toast was served hot, with a crispy exterior and fluffy inside. It was delicious on its own and worked well with other dishes too.
For mains, I ordered the “Instant Smoked Spare Ribs Oven Baked,” while my husband chose the “Iron Plate Cheese Pasta with Pancetta.”
My ribs arrived under a clear cover filled with smoke, which was lifted at the table to reveal a wonderful smoky aroma. There were three ribs, which was a good portion. The first bite was slightly salty, but as I continued eating, the balance of flavor became more enjoyable. The ribs were full of flavor, well-baked, and had just the right hint of smokiness.
My husband’s pasta came with an unexpected show, the staff brought out a large wheel of cheese and mixed the pasta in it before transferring it to the iron plate and finishing it off with freshly ground black pepper. The pasta was creamy, rich, and perfectly al dente. We especially enjoyed using the remaining sauce as a dip for the garlic toast.
Overall, we had a great lunch here. The food was delicious, and the presentation added to the experience. It’s a place that would be nice to visit with a date or friends, and we would definitely like to return and try other dishes...

Ordered cheese spaghetti and it took forever and they served same dish to someone else who ordered way later….and they didn’t even apologize. That wasn’t the worst thing, the chef was cutting his skin off his fingers using scissors in the kitchen…you got to be kidding me 😔. I will NEVER go back to this place again. So surprised to experience something like this in Tokyo...
